Troubleshooting & FAQKey concepts in 60 seconds
- Snapshot — a single dated balance for one account (e.g. “Checking, June 1, $4,210”). You build up history by recording snapshots over time. WorthSync never assumes a fixed schedule — record them whenever you want.
- Account — something you own or owe (an asset or a liability), grouped under a category (which you can rename, create, or delete).
- Visibility — each account is Private, Shared (read-only), or Shared (full access). This drives what your household can see.
- Household — your sharing space. Everyone gets a personal household automatically; invite others to share.
- Activity Feed — a shared timeline within your household where you can leave comments and emoji reactions on financial changes.
- Net-worth view — a global toggle: My, Shared, or Combined.
- Debt Tranche — a specific promotional or fixed-rate portion of a larger debt, allowing precise payoff simulations.
